Good evening everyone, I hope all of us are doing well, i am very happy and excited to participate in the interesting Engagement Contest that is organized by @steemfoods, so I am grateful to them

Favorite means person or things that is well treated in a special way, like or give preferences.

So I will say that I am the favorite chef in my family, I started and learn how to cook different types of food through my mum and my Aunty, and when I was a teenage I started going to different occasions places like marriage ceremony and burial places to help people that I know,at this occasion I watched, see and learn how to cooked different traditional recepes.now I used to help people in cooking when they have occasions

I used to cooked delicious and palatables foods that could make my family and anybody mouth longing for more ,I prepare delicious traditional dishes like afang ,editan melon,okra and atama soup,ekpangkukwa and the different type of

rice like coconut, jellof rice. Palm oils rice with pumpkin leaf, we call it ( mtn rice)

When preparing those dishes I follow the normal procedures and also uses ingredients.

AFANG SOUP

I buy the leaves from the market or at yes get from the village, wash and slice it then I get food stuffs like water leaf,meat,stock fish,perewinkle not forgetting that,Then I wash my pot place on the fire put my stock fish and other ingredients into the pot and season it later on I put my water leaf and the afang which I pounded and then my fresh Afang soup is ready.

I plug the leaves from the stem,sliced and ready to cook with my cooking ingredients but my editan is cooked in a different way cause I like it bitter than washing off all the chlorophyll which gives the body the needed nutrient ,I might decide if to used water leaf for it or Palm fruits any of it is very delicious as long as it goes down the stomach with a hot fufu.

Not forgetting this delicious meal,I peel my cocoyam and water yam grate and mix them together then get a fresh cocoyam leaf or any desired leave like the Cocoayam sprout wash and fold the it into the leaves,put palm oil into the pot and the pastry which was fold when done of it was watery after folding you boil hot water into it if not put it on the fire and add salt ,Maggi,cray fish,pepper and water, then leave it for a while and turn it on getting done used a knife and cut it into pieces and boom it's done.
And I don't cook just for my family members but I also cook on occasions like traditional marriage ceremony .

FAMILY MEETING

when we have a family meeting i'll be the one doing all the cooking and I cook dishes like white soup and pounded cocoyam

using goat meat and here the preparation goes like this we will cook a life goat for the event then part of the meat will be divided to me for the white soup I will get it seasoned put my pot on fire used the water that was used in seasoning the meat then I wash and put my stock fish into the pot add a little Maggi and salt ,pepper and a little quantity of oil to it steam till it's soft when done I put achi leave for a while then put my audusa leaf for it to have a nice scent and then my tasty soup is done and

Everyone is ready to eat.i just love cooking it's part of me and it makes me very happy too and am proud of myself because there won't be anyone who taste my food without asking for more and that makes me more thankful to my lovely mother for teaching me to be such a great and wonderful chef.
