Hello friends, today I want to share with you the recipe for some delicious chicken rolls accompanied by French fries, which I really like a lot.
Next I will explain the whole process in detail and the ingredients that you will need.
Ingredients:
-Tortilla:
250g flour
100g margarine
150ml of water
salt to taste
-Stuffed:
1/2 kg of chicken breast
1/4 kg of chorizo
Eggs
Jamon
Cheese
Tomatoes
Organic lettuce
Potato chips
Seasonings
-Dressing:
3 tbsp mustard
5 tbsp mayonnaise
1 lemon
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of salt
-Fried chips:
1 kg of potatoes (I prefer yellow potatoes)
Water
Vinegar
Salt
Pepper
- Preparation of the tortillas:
In a bowl place the flour, together with the margarine and add salt to taste, mix this a little and then add the water (I recommend that the water is a little warm), mix and knead until you feel a homogeneous but soft dough. . After having the dough ready, we proceed to create the tortillas, make a ball of the size we want our tortilla and begin to stretch with a roller or some similar tool, until it is completely flattened and in the shape of a circle.
We heat a frying pan over medium heat with a little melted margarine and there we cook our tortillas, I personally do not like to have them very toasted, but it can be as you wish.
When we have the tortillas ready, we save them and we will use them later.
-Preparation of the filling:
To start we must season our breast, which before we are going to cut into squares, after having the pieces cut, we will add pepper, cumin, ground annatto, Maggi chicken broth, lemon and salt to taste.
After having seasoned our breast, we fry it with a little oil, I like it to be golden brown, but not very toasted, so I do it over a low heat. After having our brisket ready, we set it aside along with our tortillas.
We now continue with the eggs, ham and cheese, each egg is sautéed over low heat and on top of each one I place the ham and cheese so that it melts a little.
We continue chopping the tomato into slices and the lettuce into small pieces, all this must be washed very well and, if possible, add a little vinegar.
-Preparation of the dressing:
In a small bowl mix the mustard with the mayonnaise, add the lemon, salt and pepper and mix well.
Now we proceed to roll up our wraps with all the ingredients inside, I forgot to mention that the chorizo should also be lightly fried and chopped into pieces to add it to the filling (this is optional).
Inside the tortilla we place the chicken, chorizo, tomato, lettuce, egg, ham and cheese, the potato chips and the dressing.
and we roll it up.
Finally we will make our french fries, which is the simplest, I have a couple of tricks to make them more crunchy and one of them is to let them soak for 15 minutes in water with vinegar, then dry them well with kitchen paper and place them to fry in an already hot oil, since this is also key for the chips to be crispy.
