How to cook yam porridge with pumpkin leaf , my own recipe by @zara20

Hello beautiful people of steemfoods community, how are we, I hope we all are fine, am Zara from Nigeria and today I will be sharing with us on to cook porridge yam with pumpkin leaf

Ingredient for the food
Yam

Fresh peppers

Handful of crayfish

One big onions

Red oil

Fresh pumpkin leaf

4 seasoning cubes

Salt

Procedures
Peel the back of the yam,cut and wash it,add water to cover the yam then ,put it on fire to boil

While the yam is boiling, I will prepare the ingredients,i wash the fresh peppers and pound it together with the crayfish and onions,

wash the pumpkin leaf with salt and enough water for(3 times) to remove sand and dirty after that cut it and set aside

20 Minutes later I check on the yam to Know if it has become soft

So as you can see my yam is already soft so I will add the pounded ingredients,add salt, seasoning cubes,and red oil pumpkin leaf,turn it with turning stick and cover the pot so that it can boil very well,

5 minutes later i off the burner,my yam porridge is done and ready to eat

Starting time=11:40
Ending time=12:30
