Giving continuity to the Tata Recipes, today I present you a rich "Carne Mechado" in the Venezuelan style, ideal to accompany the Venezuelan Pabello, a Venezuelan Arepa or any other contour that you like.

2 onions
2 paprika (green-red)
4 cloves of garlic
1 tomato
Pickled
1 carrot
Capers
Red wine
Salt and pepper
Turmeric
2 Cebollas
2 Pimenton (verde-Rojo)
4 Dientes de ajo
1 Tomate
Encurtido
1 Zanahoria
Alcaparras
Vino Tinto
Sal y Pimienta
Cúrcuma
Se cortan las cebollas, el tomate y los pimentones en tiras largas y delgadas; los dientes de ajo se trituran.
Se procede a sofrir el ajo triturado con las cebollas, una vez cristalizada las cebollas se añaden el tomate y los pimentones, siguiendo sofriendolos por unos 5 minutos.
Seguidamente, se agrega la carne esmechada y se agrega el caldo concentrado progresivamente, luego el vino tinto, el encurtido y alcaparras trituradas, asi como la pimienta.
Se deja cocinar por unos 20 minutos hasta que se reduzca el caldo.
Proceed to cut the meat into medium pieces, put them to boil until it is completely soft and then proceed to frost. We keep three cups of the concentrate broth where the meat is parboiled.Onions, tomato, and bell peppers are cut into long thin strips; garlic cloves are crushed.
Proceed to fry the minced garlic with the onions, once the onions have crystallized, add the tomato and the paprika, continuing to fry them for about 5 minutes.
Subsequently, the ground meat is added and the concentrated broth is added progressively, then the red wine, the pickle and crushed capers, as well as the pepper.
Let it cook for about 20 minutes until the broth is reduced.
