Hello, steemians!
It's been about 3 weeks since my last model kit review post, so I thought is was time for another one. This video is a review of a classic Monogram airplane model kit, the 1/48 scale kit for the P-61 Black Widow, an airplane used as a night fighter and bomber interceptor by the U.S. military during WW2. I believe that the P-61 was used mostly in the Pacific theater during WW2.
This kit has been in production since the mid 1970s, and is still being produced. The box art has changed over the years, but the kit is still available. The kit that I review in the video is one that I got from the secondary market. I usually get these kits on ebay. Because of the box art of this particular kit, I'm pretty sure that it was produced in either the late 1970s or the early 1980s. You can tell that this kit was stored in less than ideal conditions, the box is in kind of rough condition. The kit it's self is still in good condition.
Here is the video for my model kit review, it's about 11 and a half minutes long. There's lots of parts to talk about.
Thanks for checking out this post, I hope you found it interesting!
