I wanted to talk about a local city backed CryptoCurrency Exchange to compete with COinbase for local residents to get the best rates, buying BTYC mined from our own SOlar Powered Mining Operations, probably at a loss but for educational purposes and to eventually reach profit as long as the BTC we mine, is saved, by residents who will pay USD for its actual purchase in our OWN version of Coinbase
Also imagine how much safer we would feel if we had the blessing of the City to start a decentralized exchange using Telos EOSIO smart contracts AND steem engine based technology
I want a clone of steem engine, set up with the good will of the City of San DIego, created to simply buy and sell Bitcoin for USD at better rates than Coinbase, and coinbase uses all of these banks they cant even trust to allow smooth flow of customer funds without freezing accounts etc. if we have @publicbanksd then we can have publicdexsd or publiccexsd or Public Exchange SD a Public Sector Crypto Exchange based on NEWDEX and STEEM ENGINE technology, he cheapest and the best and most efficient
SDEX
San Diego Exchange for selling the cryptocurrency we confiscate from the SUN.. from solar panel mining :D Its better to burn power on BTC and altcoin mining than to pay someone else to take it... because eventually they will just mine BTC with it and hold that BTC and it will be a testament to others stupidity and their gain...
https://www.latimes.com/projects/la-fi-electricity-solar/
the risk is in doing nothing.. we MUST spend money to mine btc and we can DO it cheaper by outsourcing the work to someone in a state with less regulations... but we can have a deal where if we pay them to build teh cheap data center and BTC mining center, then we split the bitcoin , which they will have to SEND to us, automatically, so we can sell it in OUR exchanges. Thats the crazy thing about Bitcoin is you can set up a high risk factory which can produce a good you can instantly sell anywhere on earth.
The chokepoints are visible... bottlenecks.. we need to attach BTC miners at every power plant and yes yes i know its expensive to invest in the mining hardware but if we HAD it we would have that volcano from rick and morty we could direct all our dangerous waste electricity towards :D Yeah some would argue it would be wasteful to mine Bitcoin, instead of PAYING someone else to take it off our hands but we may as well KEEP the resource and convert it into potential energy as BTC like a financial mathematical battery
Seriously we need to start thinking about why we ARENT mining the BTC, not reasons to not but reasons why we have no choice but to start! We may get away with using non ASIC data centers to mine crypto and also have data centers. Solar Power here subsidized by the state and run by an efficient private sector company like TESLA could provide us with enough excess power and free data centers that mining Bitcoin would be a viable opportunity for teh state
Just like the State and COunty and City have allowed Cannabis Exchanges or "dispensaries" to pop up and tax them, i feel Crypto Exchanges will be next, because the city and state should be allowed to recognize what crypto is, and then put a very small tax on its trading, only AFTER we establish its profitable and maybe only for OTC street style trades. I honestly have seen people deal bitcoin similar to the way they deal drugs, and this is should be viewed as a good thing an improvement that inner city urban youth are now into financial technology, it could be a lot worse and we could see people dealing drugs and guns. The cryptocurrencies arent used on teh streets to purchase things, its all still cash. But if we do see a cashless society then people will be forced into digital money sadly they will use prepaid cards and banks etc, because thats a much easier world to manipulate.
SO I argue to public officials that BLOCKCHAIN allows everyone and everything to be traced, and yes there does exist completely anonymous currencies like monero XMR or PEOS, but they are limited to their own users, so its more of a video game currency until you see someone in the real world really use something like Monero, just like we do see DASH used by real world debit card processors
The secret is that we can and will have local exchanges. COinbase doesnt deserve a monopoly. Just like we discuss public banks, we will discuss public city backed and city approved city taxes cryptocurrency exchanges.
Solar Panels will MINE BTC ... This DOES work because WIND farms are already being set up for this in texas.... I KNOW there is a high risk of public sector incompetence but that's why we will TRY TO PAY TESLA and that will inspire others, and we will have the BEST choice emerge for a SOLAR data center real estate housing system using a native Cryptocurrency Exchange
We will even find Native American Casino Partners so we can use Native American Casino backed UBI for the entirety of San Diego and then the state of California.
