How to create an account on Status and connect your crypto wallet on it?

Some days back I talked about the Web 3 STATUS app and why it's important one use it. It has unique features that enablesP2P messaging, browsing and crypto wallet for sending and receiving assets. This status is an advanced version of WhatsApp. It's the new Web 3 Dapp. How does it work?

I'll be showing steps on how to create an account on this P2P messaging app that has three in one features that can benefit is. To create an account, let's click on this link which will direct us to different applications that it supports such as APK Android, App store or play store. Any of these apps that suites we can use downloading the status app.

I usually use play store where I will click on install and wait for minute before it gets installed. after downloading the application, we'll have to click on open to access it. We'll have to accept some conditions before we start. It will then tell us to generate some keys stored in the device of which only us can use. We will then select the chat of our own preference and click on next.

Will be shown a page where will be shown way to save her keys and a recommendation would be placed on key card if we have. We can use the key card in saving our keys or better still on our device. So let's click on the device option. It will then ask us to enter and confirm a password before the status account is created.

To backed up your secret phase on the app, you can use these steps. Click on the profile icon in the app and then select privacy and security. Then, it will take us to a certain where it says back up seed phrase. Will then click on it to achieve this. A window will appear to notify us that if we lose our phone the only way to log in is with the seed phrase blessing much important on the safe phrase and why it should be kept safe, if possible offline.

Then it will ask us to enter our seed phrase and confirm it. The Apple asked for a particular phrase periodically to confirm whether we have saved it. It may ask for phrase 3 and where to complete or supply it before the backup of the recovery phrase is completed.

Let's start from the profile icon.

• Profile icon: this icon displays features such as privacy and security notifications design and other features relevant to our account. In this profile icon, we can adjust the status up to a way that we'll have a better experience when using it.

• The chat feature is one of the main features in this status up and it displays where one can chat either in groups when individually based on an end-to-end encryption which guarantees the privacy of one's conversation without involvements by intermediaries. This chat feature is located at the bottom of our phone as the first icon on your left.

• Web Browser: the second icon depicted in series is the web browser feature. In this feature, we can do researches explore and interact with various decentralized applications such as games, collectibles and different platforms we can connect and Status wallet with the app.

• the next importance function is the wallet icon as the third icon where assets available are stored. I said you like coins, tokens, collectibles and many others.

• If we want to connect our Status wallet to another platform using our web browser, the first thing we must do is go to the browser option and write the URL address.

• To do this, we'll go to HTTPS://IDEX.IO/ within the Exchange and then select the three points at the bottom of your app. A menu will appear and we will click on connect wallet.

• After selecting the connect wallet icon, we'll then be told to authorize to connect your Status wallet with the platform's exchange through the web browser. After doing that, we'll then click on accept.

• The first thing you'll do to create a new account in Status is to go to the wallet then select add an account. A menu will then appear where we will have to select Generate account.

• After selecting Generate account, we'll then be told to fill in some important informations like our password, the name of the account we want to create and the color of the account. After filling out these requested data, we will then click on Add account to create another.

Status is actually an innovative platform since it can also be considered a hardwallet but Status is much more than that. This web 3 can store your assets and private keys but it is not limited to that. It also has P2P messaging opportunity and web browsing on some decentralised applications. This platform brought new ways to store assets as well as navigate the different DApps we have. Why not try it out?
