Promoting Steemit Social Media || Day 08 || Preparing for this week's promotion

Promoting steemit is one of the many ways of contributing to steemit growth asides content creation, investment and engagements. Although it's time consuming, the end results is paramount and rewarding. One of my Steemit goals this year was to raise over hundred individuals who would invest in their future through steemit. I'm Still working at achieving that goal that's why Promotion is essential.

Promotion increases the user base of this platform. I've been preparing for promotion some days so that I can start this week. I've prioritize creating my flyer in a unique way. I've also thought of my choice of words so as no to sound desperate or misleading. Below are ways I prepared my Promotional materials for steemit Promotion this week. I'll also highlight the challenges I face during promotion.

Designing a flyer on Canva

Canva is one of the best apps I use in selecting or creating good flyers for promotion. I opened the app and then select a good flyer I can work with. I'll go to the Facebook flyer section and select a good flyer. I'll then filter all those unnecessary designs and writeups and then create mine.

The design of a flyer matters a lot as it attract viewers. The title of the flyer speaks a lot too. It creates the first impression and gives people an insight of what you have to present or what you want them to know.

I used the title Write, Post and Earn as my title. I then wrote some intriguing texts to complement my flyer and make it professional a bit.

I used a picture that looks stunning and not anyhow picture. I then input necessary details for my class, my classmate, time, venue and phone number for contact.

After designing the flyer, I took to creating a Promotional content for my promotion this week. This is what the Promotional content looks like. I'm opened to corrections.

When I see many pestering on people's dm for urgent 2k, I'm shocked. Why don't ask them what they are doing to earn the money they have and do same? I see no reasons for being broke as a student when steemit is very much available like Facebook.

After this writeup, I took to sampling it to check how it would look like. I've faced some challenges Promoting steemit lately. I tend to get more people on Facebook than on WhatsApp but it seems some of them on Facebook are inclined to that social media that they seem not to have data to continue on steemit after sign up. So I'm developing strategies to change my audience while motivating them to take advantage of the opportunities they have. I posted this on my mentorship group.
