Welcome to my post. I hope all of you will be doing well and be fine and happy with the grace of Allah Almighty. My Name is Ali Hassan and today I'm going to start lesson no 11 of our crypto series which is How to manage crypto Portfolio. I hope after reading this blog all of you will get an idea about how to manage your portfolio. So, without wasting any more time let's move toward our topic.
Portfolio management is essential in crypto; as I always say, there is nothing big and small in crypto. Knowledge is knowledge try to capture it where you can get it. But portfolio management is the best way to manage your trading funds in right place to get accurate results.
Portfolio management is a professional approach to managing your investment in different sectors. But in terms of cryptocurrency Portfolio management is the management of your assets and dividing your funds into different projects in a very well-adopted manner to get better results.
There are types of portfolio management but I don't think that you have to know in deep because the term portfolio management is also used in the Stock market and its working is almost the same in Cryptocurrency. If you have basic knowledge of portfolio management then you can get good results.
I think I have to divide this section into two parts:
- Spot portfolio management
- Future Portfolio Management
Spot Portfolio Management:
Spot Trading is considered as safest crypto trading as there is very less chance to gain a heavy loss with respect to other crypto trading means. Atleast you have the number of coins no matter what they are worth. So, it is important to discuss Spot Portfolio management.
In Spot Portfolio You have at least $1000 to cover in different projects. Let's suppose you have $1000 in your spot portfolio now divide your portfolio in such a way that you have $400 for Day trading, Swing trading, or Scalping through which you can make a daily profit and divide $300 from the total $1000 to mid-term investment. And the remaining $300 for long-term investment for at least half a year or more than a year.
- You can trade and make a profit from you $400.
- Select coins for mid-term investment and then divide your amount in them and buy them in the dip.
- Keep you $300 from a total of $1000 and wait for a proper entry in your researched coins. Whenever the market took some correction try to buy your coins in part for long-term investment
- Mid-term and long-term Investment is very important for your growth because they will help you to gain massive we have seen that some coins pump for less than one cent to hundreds of dollars.
Note: I took $1000 as a Reference point if you have less or more than $1k you can arrange it by yourself according to this ratio.
Future Portfolio Management:
Future trading is always risky and there is always a risk to lose your whole hardly earn money. So, it is more important to do proper portfolio management and risk management.
- In future trading, you must have at least $100 to start.
- Less than this amount will restrict you to get some of the trades.
- Try to take low leverage and you must have at least half the money for liquidation.
- Try to take isolated margin trade and divide your portfolio to every coin for liquidation.
- You must have enough liquidation for every coin to protect yourself from any hard pump and dump
- Don't open too many trades at a time and try to buy your coins in part because DCA is an amazing technique.
