Hello, fellow fitness enthusiasts! As a passionate Steemian and fitness enthusiast, I'm committed to living a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly. I'm thrilled to share my weekly fitness journey with you, courtesy of StayFit Fitness Club, expertly guided by Coach @ngoenyi, 4 times a week. In this weekly update, I'll share my progress through words, pictures, and videos. If you missed any of my daily fitness routines, this post will keep you in the loop.
Monday's Fitness Update
We kicked off the week with an intense workout, targeting arm/shoulder muscle development and leg strengthening. Our Coach, ngoenyi, led us through a series of exercises utilizing:
- Dumbbells for bicep curls, tricep extensions, and shoulder presses
- Weightlifts for squats, lunges, and deadlifts
- Cones for agility drills and leg strengthening exercises
The combination of these equipment and exercises pushed us to our limits, setting the tone for a fantastic week of fitness.
Media highlight of Monday's fitness training
As shown in the media above, the exercise we tackled on Monday was, dumbbells lifts, weight lifts, lateral cone taps, and jump squats. Despite the intense muscle soreness, I persevered and completed the assigned repetitions and sets for each exercise. It wasn't easy, but the sense of accomplishment fueled my motivation.
Wednesday's Fitness Update
Wednesday's fitness training focus was mainly on building core abs,leg strengthening and playing football game. Our Coach, ngoenyi, led us through a series of exercises utilizing:
- Dumbbells for reverse hand stretches (lying down)
- Cones for jumping jack squats
Utilizing dumbbells and cones amplified the effectiveness of each exercise, leaving a lasting impression on our muscles. Personally, I felt the burn primarily in my lower abdomen, a testament to the targeted core work.
Media highlight of Wednesday's fitness training
As shown in the media above, the exercise we tackled on Wednesday was, dumbbell toe touch, jumping jack squats, and playing football game. We had an action-packed Wednesday at StayFit Fitness Club! Our workout included dumbbell toe touch, jumping jack squats, and a thrilling friendly football game. As usual, we divided into Team Blue and Team Yellow. This week, Team Yellow took the win with an impressive 9-1 score.
Friday's Fitness Update
Friday's fitness training focus was mainly on building core abs, and dancing our way to fitness. Our workout incorporated stepboards, versatile tools that enhanced our exercises. We utilized them in two key ways:
Hand support: Placing our hands on the stepboards while swinging our legs, engaging our core and leg muscles.
Elevated seating: Sitting firmly on the stepboards during mid-air exercises, stabilizing our movements and intensifying the workout.
Utilizing the stepboard proved to be a game-changer, enabling us to, execute exercises with precision and control, revent palm injuries and discomfort, and also avoiding unnecessary friction and itching on our buttocks. The stepboard provided a stable and comfortable base, allowing us to focus on our form and maximize the workout's effectiveness
Media highlight of Friday's fitness training
As shown in the media above, the exercise we tackled on Friday was, step jumps, side step-ups, scissors and incline sit-up. Friday's workout was a blast, with each exercise presenting a unique challenge. However, the incline sit-up program proved to be the toughest. My core and abdominal muscles were put to the ultimate test. Despite the burning sensation and discomfort, I refused to give in. Drawing on inner strength, I pushed through the pain and completed the set.
Saturday's Fitness Update
The final day of our weekly fitness training arrived! Saturday's session was a thrilling repetition of core abs, arm/shoulder strengthening, and leg strengthening exercises, but with a twist. We made use of step boards for:
Hand support: Placing our hands on the stepboards while swinging our legs, engaging our core and leg muscles.
Elevated seating: Sitting firmly on the stepboards during mid-air exercises, stabilizing our movements and intensifying the workout.
The incorporation of stepboards significantly enhanced our fitness setting, providing a safe and effective platform for exercise execution.
Media highlight of Saturday's fitness training
We wrapped up the week with an energetic Saturday workout, tackling arms cycling, step-ups, toe touch, and heel taps. The Tabata song playing from the music box added an extra layer of excitement! We moved in sync with the infectious beats and lyrics, transforming our exercise routine into a dynamic dance party. Laughter, sweat, and team spirit filled the air, making our fitness session an unforgettable experience.

Kudos to my Coach for curating the perfect playlist that fueled our motivation. Juggling exercise and work can be challenging, but it's definitely achievable.
