Love is a strong feeling of affection towards someone. It is a bond that involves understanding each other's core values, beliefs, and life goals. It's about genuine connection, respect, trust and understanding. In any relationship, being truthful with each other strengthens the bond even if the truth is difficult to face at times.

Poverty is not a crime. That someone is poor, today does not mean that such a person will be poor forever, but hiding such information from me and pretending to be who you are not is what I cannot accept, especially from someone who claims to love me. What happens to being honest and truthful? Keeping secrets or hiding some vital information away from your lover causes more harm than good. Love is built on being honest and truthful in fact, it is the foundation of every relationship. In as much as some secrets are okay and even good to keep, it is important to evaluate whether you have a foundation of honesty in your relationship.

Some people hide something from their lover maybe because of shame or fear of rejection. For me, anyone who truly loves you will stay and not judge you but rather encourage you to do better. Relationships that are built with lies do not last because one day, the truth will surface, and the outcome might be disastrous.

One thing that some people don't know about hiding things from their loved ones is that the more they hide the truth, the more the lies grow and it will be more difficult to tell. I prefer hearing the truth directly from my lover than hearing it from somebody else. It breaks me down and makes me believe that am not safe in the hands of such a person.

I am inviting @lovinah, @mesola and @wizzyboy3
