In the nature of our world today, work has taken up a significant portion of our lives. To some people, work is more than anything we do or services rendered to earn a living; it has become what shapes our personalities, influences our friendship and connections, and affects our overall well-being.

However, I understand that when the workload becomes overwhelming compared to the amount paid, peace of mind gotten at work or maybe even health issues, it prompts the question: should I quit?

If you find yourself being depressed about workdays, feeling unmotivated, or experiencing medical symptoms of stress, it may be a sign that a change is necessary but not a quit.

First, think about your financial stability. Remember that work provides a steady income that allows you to meet your basic needs (as well as family members)—such as housing, food, healthcare, and other living expenses. If one quits without proper planning of what work or business to do next, it could lead to more stress in the long run and there is actually"No food for the lazy man".

Depending on your area of work specifications, finding a new role might take longer than expected. Quitting too soon without a backup plan could leave you with a prolonged period of unemployment, which on this side of the world is equal to borrowing or begging in the long run.

Work often gives structure (routines)and a sense of purpose to life. It can provide social interaction and professional fulfillment. Quitting without a clear plan for what comes next could lead to a sense of aimlessness, and it is said "an idle man is the devil's workshop".

"Winners never quit, and quitters never win". Though there are some benefits of quitting your job, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages if ones backup plans are not well organized.

Quitting without any necessary plan for tomorrow is absolute madness. Quitting maybe required when ones strength can't carry but, you need to plan ahead of time or better still stay put and think about a better strategy for survival rather than quiting. Winners never quit, I absolutely agree with you on this.
