Happy Sunday!…..😇
It’s a bit sad for us as Bill and Agi head to Hungary to go help her family with final resting plans for her father who passed away last Sunday. It’s not going to be an easy trip for them. 😢
Our day began with getting ready for church and taking Phoenix outside. It’s not our normal schedule to have to worry about taking a dog out, but it will become second nature soon.
The sermon we excellent today. I rarely go home from church disappointed. It was super packed as the summer is winding down and school will start midweek here. We’ve got one more single service Sunday and then we go back to split services. We are going to try doing the first service when that begins.
Once home, it was time to take Phoenix out and for me to fix her brunch. She is one spoiled doggie! Her human parents cook a runny scrambled egg and mix that up with her kibble adding a slice of real cheese! Why, she eats better than some people I know! So of course, we have to follow the routine. Interesting I’m cooking breakfast and dinner for her when I don’t myself eat much breakfast! She does seem to like it though. 🐶
Soon, we headed out for a hike.
A little baby snake made an appearance. He wasn’t much more than 6” long!
She enjoyed her hike immensely and this was how she was once home.
She’s one tired little girl!🐶
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow, I need to take an Every Door Direct Mailing to the Sumas post office. @silvertop needs some nails, hopefully we can get those in Lynden and then everybody wants coffee, so I’ve got 7 pounds plus what we need ourselves to do. Then next weekend, another 4 to do.
Bill and Agi’s plane has taken off so I’ll be tracking them tonight.

Hi @upex! It was Agi's father who passed. Bill is mine and @silvertop's son. Your prayers are greatly appreciated! It's tough for her since she was here and her father in Hungary where he and her mom live.
Phoenix is a sweetie for sure. I know it was hard for Bill and Agi to leave her behind, but she is better off here.
It is really pretty here; some seasons more so than others, but what I really love to see and photograph are 'shrooms! I will have some in tomorrow's post that I found today.
I look forward to possibly another hike, but have some coffee I need to roast tomorrow for a couple of customers. We roast coffee, mostly for ourselves, but sell to others if they ask.
