"Is being shameless a good thing?"

The opposite of shame is shamelessness, that is, not being shameful or lacking shame. When talking about being shameful, I'll say that it is a state of being uncomfortable, feeling bad or guilty of something. Most times, people who are shameful find it difficult to speak in public not because they have committed any crime, but because they lack the boldness to do so.

So, being shameless is a state of being comfortable to speak or do anything without the feeling of guilt or being offended. Shameless people don't see anything wrong when it comes to speaking their minds about their troubles or something of interest to them.

To the contest, is being shameless a good thing? I'll say it depends on the situation at hand. This is because some people have some morals that are detestable and also disgusting. While I was a student at the university, there were some students whom I'll say were so shameless that they could spill anything out of their mouths without a single feeling of guilt. They spoke in some disgusting manner that was always out of place, abused everything and anyone, and could do some stuff without shame. Their shamelessness was just out of hand.

They could abuse the opposite gender, even insult adults and also make some funny jokes that weren't going well with some people. To them, it was a normal lifestyle, but to others, it was embarrassing. Therefore, there are situations where a person is bold and that situation equates to a really messy situation.

On the other hand, it's good to be persuasive and bold to speak to people on issues that are of importance without being afraid or shameless as long as it is for a good course. Unlike some careless and abusive speaking in public that connotes embarrassment.

When it comes to being shameless, it can be good if it's for a good course, and it can also be bad if it doesn't portray any positive behaviour or attitude.
