Will you accept the unwritten rules to succeed?

Is there any other way, any way to succeed when all who offer to help me ask for something that will drain my dignity, I wonder how I will feel standing before them with a double honour that was gotten through frivolity, I know I deserve this position but if it was given to someone else who doesn't deserve it, I will live in regret, I will live to regret, and if after losing this position who will believe that I deserved it, won't they think my statement "I deserved that place" is as a result of my jealousy on the person that took the position? Is there any way that if I tell someone about this they may approach this man and he may deny he wasn't the one?

He didn't put a call across requesting to see the image hidden by my underwear, if not I would have placed a recording and spread the news through the voice note gotten from the call and then I would have seen how he would deny that being his voice. He didn't even give me time to think if not I would have told my male friends and brothers to accompany me and break the door after a set time to expose his wickedness. He said he wanted to see it, that which was meant for my future husband.

In today's world, the beauty of women is increasingly gradual, the way they are wire is so unique and some men who are adulterous or may have excess testosterone are using this as an opportunity to make them sign an unwritten rule to give them a go-ahead in their daily life pursuit. The world has become so dangerous that a male coursemate cannot successfully mentor her colleagues of the opposite gender without wanting something meant to be secretive. I wonder what sort of generation ours will metamorphose into.

The first and second paragraph of my write-up shows the plight of the female gender, a lecturer who seems to rob his students of their rights, female students may be asked to use what they possess to get what they want, not even what they want but what is outrightly theirs. The male ones may be asked to pay some heavy levy that may even cause them to steal or be involved in some sort of lies, the system has become corrupted by this element and this proceeds to the next generation of people who have given in to unwritten rule and use this form as a payback.

Imagine a struggling student being asked to pay a bribe for a course he passed. He may end up billing the next generation he is opportune to lecture if he doesn't have a living conscience. In summary, I wouldn't accept any unwritten rule to succeed because I will be hunted with regrets each time I flash back to the past.

I want my friends @oneray, @artist1111, @bossj23, @hahdie and @wakeupkitty to read this and drop a commentary

Hola hay cosas en la vida que nos sorprenden y nos lleva a vivir cada vez de una mejor manera... Entendiendo las pequeñas cosas...

Hello @nsijoro,
Life is full of dos and don'ts. These are rules which can be written or unwritten. Considering your example, some students decides to bribe the lecturers for the fear of failing a particular course. But the reality is they can accept more bribe or create opportunities to revive bribe if installed as a Lecturer. It's an unwritten law which might not be changed easily. But, I appreciate the fact that you don't work with these laws (unwritten). Amazing post and good luck on your entry.

It is only one that has experience that can tell better and one without conscience can always revenge for the past, I don't work with laws that downplay on my moral decorum and dignity

@nsijoro, everytime we follow the wrong path in an attempt to succeed, we always get stuck or have regrets in the end. Just like you noted in your post, it will be of great consequences if we try choosing the wrong path to success. I have seen quite a lot of people and friends who got stuck trying to achieve success the wrong way. One tried sorting out a course with money and was caught, he had to redo the course which cost him extra years in the university. Though it might look like a short cut but the repercussions is always a long one.

Nice writeup from you man...goodluck.

A friend tried to sort out a course, he chosed the wrong part, my lecturer will always remind me, you are here to learn if you have to resit a course do, it will only help you learn more. Goodluck friend

@nsijoro
Thanks for bringing out the plight of the female folk to light, to be honest there's no need for any unwritten rule at all, it only brings regret and wishing to change what is already permanent.

This action is what brings about insecurity of that gender, and making them believe that "all men are the same".

Personally I believe there are other ways to succeed in any aspect of life than selling yourself, something that will hunt you forever. Thanks for the amazing piece.

Your view's contains lot of reasons and is backed by facts. However not all unwritten rules involves negative factors like bribery. For example in steemit there's a hidden rule of consistency. It's not a written rule but to achieve success as a blogger I think it's necessary.

Consistency is an unwritten rule I agree but based on the context of the contest, a statemnet was made which aligns to negative part of unwritten rules which are creating undue pressure and supporting systematic injustice and many others, that is why I came up with this #creativewriting that connote many unwritten rules which is a purposeful attempt by a lecturer to steal dignity from his student. From intuition anyways

You've replied well, more ink to your pen.
