First, an open marriage is defined as a marriage whereby legalized partners are in intimate relationship with others outside their primary relationship but is being done with the consent of both partners. However, , open marriage requires effort, communication and honesty to move forward. Based on the question being asked, will I accept an open marriage.

Humans perspective are definitely different so to say I will welcome an open marriage.
In the open marriage which is being welcomed by me, I will be glad to know my partner's sexual and emotional partner rather than come home one day to get the news that he cheated on me with another.

I will definitely ensure that in my open marriage, my partner's partner is my rival. No not at all I will ensure we work in good terms and try not to act a up because we have been given a chance to publicly know or get to be involved with my partner.

Moving forward, In an open marriage there are important considerations to be taken note of while indulging in an affair with your known partner;
• Safe sex must be practiced by both of you to avoid contacting sexual transmitted disease.

• Respecting each other is very necessary the fact that you are given the go ahead to have an affair outside your matrimonial home/bed gives you no right to disrespect your partner.

• Clear communication must be made often check in on your partner's emotional health and give the support you can

• Boundary setting and respecting of boundaries is very necessary and important by the partners.

A type of open marriage is swinging; It involves engaging in sexual activities with others. It can be done together or separately.
Polyamory involves multiple relationship with others but with consent from the partner.

However, in open marriage there are challenges one can likely face;

• A careless partner can come back with an STIs and unintended pregnancy.

• Insecurity, or jealousy can come in if your partner tends to see the other partner and often enjoys his or her company than you.

• Maintaining intimacy can be difficult if you get used to the other.

• Boundaries management can be difficult. When one steps on the other person's boundary it becomes difficult for both.

• Social stigma and judgement can come in.

Nonetheless, I'd rather prefer an open marriage to a cheat who'd come wailing and still goes back to do same again.
