I was browsing the Steemit contest page posted by @disconnect when I came across this wonderful contest topic. It immediately drew my attention.
It is very true that most adult children still depend on their parents for a living. My brother and I were even debating this topic ourselves.

My opinion about this topic is that it is very bad and also very shameful for an adult child to still be depending on his or her parents for a living.
I have been seeing this type of thing in our community. In fact, the ones that I just saw last month shocked me. The guy was in his early 30s, and his mom was still providing everything for him.
Even if he wants to go out and hang out with friends, his mom gives him transportation. When he comes back, his mom still has to give him food.
So like I'd mentioned earlier that my opinion about this kind of a situation is that it is very bad and there's no two ways about it.
Why did I say that it's bad?
- Such a person will be very lazy
- Such a person will become very troublesome and stubborn
- Such a person might resort to stealing when his or her parents isn't there again to provide
*And these are the kinds of people that normally tarnish the name of our society because they grew up to be lazy. They were bred in laziness, and laziness is what they will reap in the future.
