Almost everything has both pros and cons and this is same about organ donation. In this blog I'm going to talk about both pros and cons on organ donation. Before that, I would like to thank Boylikegirl Club for bring this awesome discussion topic.

The question is, what do I think about organ donation? Well, my answer is positive on this matter but there are some conditions also applied. I'm not against organ donation when it is going to save someone's life and not a suicidal act of donor. Before donating any organ donor should healthy and this act shouldn't risk his/her life.

For example donating blood is not going to harm the donor's body even it is good for donor's health. If a donor wants to donate his/her other body parts like eye, heart, kidney or anything else then it can be possible after the death of the donor. But honestly I'm scared of this but I appreciate this bravery act of donors who donate organs after the death.

Life saving is a great virtue and organ donation is a great step that only brave can dare to do. I must appreciate this kind step but at the same time I don't like when corrupted people misuse of organs and sell it for money. There are many corrupted physician can be involve in such bad practice for money.

The negative side or organ donation is, a donor after death doesn't know if their organs are misusing but their intention was giving a life or saving a life. A trustworthy community may use the organ honestly but that is rare. A person who donate organ for free, this organ use to sell which sounds something inhuman too.

No one has right to sell organ of others especially when it is for donating. Surgeons can charge the surgery process but they have no right to sell the organ which was donated my a kind donor after the death. Except this organ selling process I appreciate organ donation but as I said I'm not brave enough to take this kind step. I respect this generous initiative by donors. And that's all I think about organ donation.

Hello, @shohana1

You wrote a very nice blog, I would like to share some of my personal views on this topic too.

First of all, the concept of organ donation is mentioned in Islam as well. Islam always values helping humanity, and if someone donates their organ to save a life, it is considered a great act of charity. However, as you mentioned, there are some important conditions that need to be followed.

From my religious point of view, as long as the donor's life is not at risk and the donation is for a genuine medical reason, it is completely acceptable. Blood donation, as you mentioned, is a safe and healthy practice. But for organs like the heart or kidneys, it should only be done after death and with proper medical and legal checks.

I also worry that such a noble cause might be misused by some people. Nowadays, there are many corrupt individuals and doctors who might do anything for money. It is very sad that instead of helping humanity, some people are filling their pockets.

It is true that after death, we cannot see if our organs are being misused. That’s why it is very important to express our wish for organ donation only through trustworthy and reputable organizations. I believe that if all proper checks and balances are followed, our noble cause can be successful.

In the end, I want to say that organ donation is a very brave and noble act. People who take this step are the real heroes of our society. I also appreciate their bravery and generosity, but like you, I feel a bit scared to do it myself. Still, it is something that can bring positive change in society if done correctly.

Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking blog.
