Most Winter days we only light a fire in the wood stove in the evening………
Since Saturday, a bitter cold Nor’easter has been howling outside!
Silvertop has kept the fire smoldering all day, while I worked on my chores…….
Do you remember my stainless steel metal stamping kit? I recently purchased this for my crypto seed words. One of my “Chores” today was stamping these washers, letter by letter!…………😮
When you metal stamp, you can’t have any “bounce” when you hammer the letter on the washer.
I used a metal anvil under the gig, out in my “unheated” garage!🥶
I held my metal letter punch tightly with my hand resting on a cold steel anvil.
To make sure I didn’t move my hand and blurr the stamp, I needed to do this without gloves!🥶
Outside we were sitting at a cool 18 degrees……
In my unheated garage with the doors closed, Silvertop was enjoying a balmy 23 degrees!😎
One complete seed word stamped including the position number of the word, and my fingers were frozen!
Back into the house to warm up by the fire!😊
“Cot… move over son, Dads cold!”😻
Back out to the garage for the second seed word.
I repeated this over and over…………
This particular cold storage wallet has 12 words!🙄
Finally after two and one half hours, I was finally finished!🤗
“Cot, Dad needs to go hike to warm up Lol!”🤣
“Maybe I’ll bring you home some firewood……. After all you can’t ever have too much Lol!”
“Cot don’t let the fire go out, you are in charge Lol!”😻
