CryptoHunter World’s Revolutionary Evolution: New Gameplay Beyond M2E
CryptoHunter World is designed based on the Move to Earn (M2E) model, where users receive rewards for their external activities, such as walking or running in a specific area. This mechanism, combined with blockchain technology, has established itself as a very innovative service. However, in order to receive more rewards, users had to walk or run more and longer every day, which was a repetitive external activity. This repetitive pattern could have the negative effect of lowering users’ immersion and weakening their motivation to use the service in the long term.
CryptoHunter World’s New Attempt: Move to Play
To solve this problem, CryptoHunter World introduced a new feature, Move to Play, that goes beyond the existing M2E framework. This feature motivates users to explore new areas and enjoy various experiences instead of doing repetitive activities every day. This increases the immersion of the service and helps users participate in the game more enjoyably.
Hunter Mode, CryptoHunter World’s representative M2E mode, includes elements of Move to Play, unlike existing M2E services. When users activate Hunter Mode and engage in outdoor activities such as walking or running, they can encounter various Cryptids with a certain probability. At this time, users have the opportunity to battle or capture Cryptids.
This system does not stop at simply repetitive activities such as walking and running, but provides clear motivation for users to collect and strengthen various Cryptids to grow their own unique Cryptids. It is also designed to provide new enjoyment through the battle system.
Why AI?
Hunter Mode was developed based on the M2E function, so it has a function that allows you to encounter Cryptids based on a certain walking distance and NFT shoe properties. However, the limitation of this system is that it is difficult to provide customized services to all users.
There are various Cryptids with a total of 18 properties in CryptoHunter World. However, if the Cryptids that are encountered with a certain probability are too strong or too weak, users may face a situation where they fail to capture them or have to run away. This can lead to users being disappointed and losing interest in the service. There is also a limitation that they have to rely solely on probability to collect certain Cryptids.
To solve this problem, CryptoHunter World will introduce AI functions to provide customized difficulty for each user, and implement a system where certain types of Cryptids appear more often in certain environments through a location-based system. We expect that this will allow users to enjoy a more diverse experience and further enhance the game’s fun and excitement.
What features will be added to Hunter Mode 2.0?
CryptoHunter World aims to provide a more enhanced user experience through AI technology. Here are the main AI features that will be added in Hunter Mode 2.0:
- Location-based AI
When Hunter Mode 2.0 is activated, the system will improve to encounter specific types of Cryptids based on the user’s route and environment through AI-based location analysis. For example, in urban areas, Electric and Esper-type Cryptids will appear more frequently, while in forests or mountainous areas, Grass-type or Ground-type Cryptids will appear according to the environment. This will motivate users to explore new areas to collect specific types of Cryptids, allowing for a more immersive exploration experience.
- Real-time learning and adaptation
The AI in Hunter Mode 2.0 learns the user’s play style and behavior patterns to dynamically adjust the appearance patterns of Cryptids. When users frequently encounter certain Cryptids or repeat patterns, the AI learns from this and adjusts the appearance of various Cryptids, or changes the battle system with Cryptids to provide new challenges and experiences every time. These real-time learning and adaptation functions allow users to continue to immerse themselves in the game without getting bored.
- AI-based difficulty adjustment
Hunter Mode 2.0 is designed to adjust the difficulty according to the level of Cryptids that the user has. Beginners will encounter relatively easy Cryptids, while experienced players will fight against stronger and rarer Cryptids. This allows players of all levels to enjoy challenges that are appropriate for their level, and enjoy the game while feeling a sense of accomplishment.
The CryptoHunter World team is working hard to make the Move to Play service more immersive and enjoyable for users through AI technology. Hunter Mode 2.0 will provide new challenges and adventures rather than simple repetitive exercises, and will enrich the experience of each player.
Hunter Mode 2.0 is currently in development and is expected to be updated around Q1~Q2 of 2025.
