I have completed the new update of our steemwatcher portal. I have done my working on report deletion criteria to enhance user control and administrative oversight. Effective immediately, the criteria for deleting reports will discuss below.
Detectives control has been decreased to keep the record maintainance. Detectives will have the ability to delete their own unverified reports. This means that any report created by a detective that remains unverified can be deleted by the reporting detective.
Administrators will possess the capability to delete both verified and unverified posts. This expanded authority allows administrators to maintain the portal integrity by removing content that may violate community guidelines or policies.
General users will not have the privilege to delete any posts. This measure is in place to ensure consistency, transparency, and the preservation of shared content on the platform.
The mission in the development is to empowering detectives to manage their own unverified reports fosters accountability within the detective role. The permission is granting to administrators. With this ability the admin can delete both verified and unverified posts ensures swift action against any content that violates our community standards.By restricting general user deletion permissions, our aim to maintain the integrity of shared content and provide a consistent experience across the platform.
This update will be implemented immediately across the platform. Detectives and administrators will notice the additional functionalities in their respective report deleted section. General users will not observe any changes in their posting or deletion capabilities.
