Hello Steemians,
I am here with new development post in which I am talking about new update that has been done on portal. From onward, portal is too smart. It will automatically generate the weekly report that will published on steemit by @abuse-watcher. It was not easy task but I have completed it very nicely and in perfect way.
The aims of this development is to automate the reporting system of abuse cases. It involves utilizing AJAX, PHP, and JavaScript to streamline the process of collecting, categorizing, and displaying the weekly abuse report counts. Additionally, it integrates the steem SDS API to fetch active posts from the Steem Watcher community.
Utilizing AJAX, PHP, and JavaScript, it simplifies the process into a single click button to copy the report that will enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Automatic Collection of Abuse Reports:
- The system will periodically collect abuse reports generated within a specified timeframe (weekly in this case).
- Utilizes AJAX to fetch and compile these reports from the database or any SDS API.
Counting Approved and Rejected Reports:
- Classifies the collected reports based on their status (green signal for approved and red signal for rejected) by administrators.
- Utilizes PHP to process and categorize the reports accordingly.
- Maintains separate counts for approved and rejected reports.
- Integration of SDS API:
- Utilizes the SdS API to fetch active posts from the SteemWatcher community.
- Incorporates JavaScript to handle API requests and display the fetched data within the system.
One-Click Automation:
- Executes all the above functionalities seamlessly upon a single click, enabling a swift and automated process for data collection, categorization, and display.
In the above screen you can see the report format. Blacklist user list will also automated on the base of date parameters. In the below screenshort you can see the all active post of steemwatcher community that will automatically fetched.
Technical Implementation
- AJAX facilitates asynchronous data retrieval without requiring a page refresh, enhancing user experience.
- PHP serves as the backend for processing data, manipulating the abuse reports, and managing counts.
- JavaScript manages interactions with the SDS API, enabling real-time data fetching and display.
Mechanism of this logic is simple, we store the post link in the variable and then extract the username with the help of regular expression and store it in another variable to copy the data.
