Good evening artists, welcome to my art blog, today I want to show you a work a little bit in the style of Dark Angel and it is Thalliana, The Angel of the Silver Wings and it is a powerful dark angel which is able to manipulate the weather conditions and the environment at will; as if that were not enough, has an unparalleled beauty which captivates and hypnotizes anyone who lays his eyes on her:

To start with my drawing the first thing was to create a skeleton on which I could work and for that I drew a sketch in which the beauty of Thalliana looked very stylized, with big eyes with a penetrating look and voluptuous lips; but above all the main idea was to attach the wings to the dark angel so that they looked quite natural.

For the application of the colors I usually start with the skin and for Thalliana I decided to use very light pastel skin tones to gradually build up a very soft and delicate skin; I achieved this by blending a lot with a special brush and mixing the dark tones with the bright ones. I added a little blush to Thalliana's cheeks before starting to paint the expression details such as the eyes and lips for which I would use very interesting shades such as watercolor blue and gray.

For Thalliana's dress I concentrated on creating a kind of low-cut dress with bare shoulders, I did it this way because I thought that this way the dress would look much more elegant and interesting; with the base ready I started to use brushes with special tips to give texture to everything. After finishing with the dress I started painting the hair, and for this I used a very dark gray tone for the base and then scaling a little towards the lighter tones I created the relief and texture of the more realistic hair.

For the creation of Thalliana's wings I had to use many shades of grayscale to achieve the appearance of silver on them; first I created a soft textured base with these shades and then gradually used much stiffer and flatter brushes to achieve a much more detailed look.

Finally I created a background that I liked a lot, at the beginning I didn't know how to start it because I couldn't find how to mix the purple colors, but then I decided to switch to watercolor brushes and I realized that the colors blended better. Later in a new layer I created some lines which reminded me a little bit of the nerve endings of the brain and I thought that was pretty cool; then I painted some final waves and finished the background in a good way.
