It's cold and dreary, and the days are short... winter drags on.
It makes me daydream of the good times of this past summer; our vegetable garden we created to become more self-sustaining in the face of Covid.
Thankfully, we still have some of our own beans and carrots in the freezer.
Potatoes taste so much better when they have just been dug up, in your own garden!
It all feels like a million miles away.
We had a small patch of wildflowers, as well... we called it "the meadow," even though it was only a few feet across.
It added a lovely splash of color to the garden.
It will be a few months before we start planting and sowing again... and hopefully we will have another good season!
Thanks for reading!
