Disaster in Uttarakhand
07.02.2021
During any disaster in the country, the first thing that comes to mind is the army. Because the job of the soldiers is to make any impossible task possible and it is a regular task for them.
And those soldiers are engaged in rescue work in the disaster of Uttarakhand. The Dhauliganga river in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district has been flooded this morning due to heavy rains.
As a result of this flood, the houses on the road at the bottom of the hill were completely destroyed by the flood waters. However, people from many villages in the district were evacuated.
Communication at several border posts was also completely banned due to the collapse of a bridge near the village of Reni. The Indo-Tibetan border police made their mark in rescuing the flood victims in Uttarakhand.
At least 16 people were trapped in a tunnel in Tapoban near Chamoli during today's floods and police rescued them and took them to safety. Even on stretchers and shoulders, the soldiers have saved people from danger.
