The first school of a child is his family. He gets the most valuable and basic education of life from that family. A child learns to speak first from his family members. He also takes the first lessons of life from his parents or family members.
Today I will discuss the issue of getting an education in the family before the children go to school.
Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, the great sage Karmabir, composed "Varnaparichaya" for the children to learn the alphabet of the Bengali language which has been prevalent in our Bengali society for ages.
Through that poem, the children learn the words and gradually adapt themselves to the Bengali language. Then one day the sweetest call "Mother" is uttered from her mouth.
These rhymes are incomparable in rhythm and sweetness. All these poems are mixed with Bengali's emotions.
