It's a while ago @stef1 wrote about upvote bots and auto upvotes.

When it comes to auto-upvotes, one can be pro or against. One thing is sure: Upvoting is time-consuming, and I just like you all, do not always have that time (if I see how few upvote this must mean something).
I want to use auto-upvote, but besides the fact that it doesn't work (yet/again), there's something else I like to know and can't find.

Is it possible to upvote people who use a certain hashtag?
#art, #story, #chat, #comment for example? Just voting for a person is not good enough to me because they do not always post the same topic, and unless you are filthy rich, this means the chance is big that the upvote is given to a post the upvote isn't meant for.
In 2024, it must be easy to add this option, just like how many times per day or week we like to vote on posts or comments or not.

It feels as if it's a mystery who made the upvote programs and who to turn to if questions arise.

I can't find it in the post @stef1 wrote so help is welcome (with investing I mean delegating to one of the big accounts since Steemit wants investors and an investor deserves interest).

If it comes to upvote bots (delegating SP to an account instead of a community) I also like to know the differences. is there anyone who figured this out? Does it benefit at all or only if you are filthy rich? @joslud?

Regarding the question you mentioned, we are both benefiting, the filthy rich one and me.

For me, who am a user with just one dolphin, renting from @justyy is giving me good results. Having a high SP allows me to split my votes, sometimes being able to make up to 30 votes in one day without going below 89 in voting power.

I increase the average earnings per cure. Before renting it was less than 1 steem a week to 7 and 8 Steem a week.
I see it as a win-win relationship.
Where I see more profitability for my case, in renting in the long term, since I would keep my SP constantly rising.

I also see benefits for a Community in short and very short term rentals (one week, for example), the amount of SP that I would receive would allow me to increase the prizes of a contest, for example by giving a 100% vote, among other things.

Like any investment, it has a risk, since it is SP, if you don't put it to work you don't win. I use it by voting.

I'm not an expert, it has given me benefits, and I will continue using it as much as possible.

I see it as an option to win in the medium and long term.
