Once upon a time there lived a farmer in a particular village with his wife and childrens. They were indeed quite well-off. They were having a beau-tiful hen which laid an egg everyday. It was not the usually egg laid by our hens, but a golden one. But the man was not satisfied with what God has blessed him to get daily. He was a person who wants to get rich faster and easier.
So he planned to get all the golden eggs that his hen is going to laid at a single day. So the man come out one particular day and said he must catch the hen and at last clicked upon the plan. By killing it and get all the eggs together.

So, the next morning when the hen lay the golden egg, he caught the hen, and took a sharp knife, and then cut off its neck and cut its body open.
But he found nothing but blood all over the body; no trace of egg was found at all. He was highly sad and worried because now he would not get even one single egg any more.
His life was going back slowly, slowly with one egg everyday but now, he himself made his life miserable. The outcome of his greedness was that he started becoming poor and poorer; poorer day by day and ultimately became a poor person. How useless and how much foolish he was.
So, the brain behind this story is" one must be thankful,in other not loose all what you have. A person must be satisfied with what he/she gets.
