Most of the negotiations are started to end somewhere in the middle of 50/50, and if you want to get the maximum then there are other rules. If they ask you what you are looking for, say 100%, they will be surprised and won't believe you are serious, but be ready to give in because 99% of people expect 50-50%, which means add 100% and 50% and find yourself in the middle, that is 75% for you and 25% for the other party. Always ask for the most and be ready for your red lines from which you will not deviate. The one who is ready to get up from the table and walk away from the negotiations wins the negotiations in his favor 90%. It is important to prepare, 90% is in good preparation and to predict what the other side will ask for, and what you are ready to offer in certain situations, that way you will reduce the chances of surprises. Be the one who will surprise the other party with certain requests that they did not foresee, this can further facilitate your success.
