Within this period and now, so much has been achieved in the world of humanity by animal scientists. This ranges from keeping animals healthy and productive, making a good companion for man and being involved in human safety. Animal Science has helped greatly in ensuring a pleasant and peaceful environment for man.
Animal Scientists ensure the proximity of animal health, as well it's production. They are active in ensuring our pets are in good health, prevent the extinction of animal breeds and provide job for certain sections of people. Animal science is vital to animals as well as humans.
Animal scientists provide companionship to man. They are involved in the domestication of animals as well as training an animal for the purpose of serving as home pets. They ensure these pets are in good health, train up these animals which help man with some of his chores. The usefulness of animals to man cannot be stressed.
Animal Science plays a very active role in human safety. Animal scientists study the spread of zoonotic diseases and popularize safety measures to the spread of the disease. In drug trials, animal scientists provide laboratory pets which are used to mimic possible effects of drug on human before drug approval.
Truly the role of animal science in our daily living cannot be underplayed. It is glaring that the study of animal science to man is as important as his breath. From protection of animals to provision of companionship and the safety of man, animal science ensures man does not become an extinct or endangered species.
Animal Science is the centre through which man revolves, it is far beyond meeting PROTEIN NEED.
