Too late now Sailor
Even when we reach the harbor, I hear the sound of waves, captain.
I'm talking to myself, where are my family and children?
When will this loneliness end, when will we return home, Captain?
The thoughts are heavy, are we sinking, Captain?
There is no wind today, Captain, I wish there were.
The hum of the wind erases the sound of the waves from my head.
Like a friend of mine came to visit and whisper to me,
As if the wind is friendly to me in my loneliness, captain.
I'm tired of walking from the ship's head to the stern, captain.
Give my village back to me, give my freedom back to me,
Take me to my country, my family and my children, captain.
Let's go now, captain, take me to those who can understand.
I love the sea very much but when my family is with me,
It was a mistake to sail, free me captain.
I didn't like these places very much, don't say no to me, captain!
When good days approach, let me go to my house, captain.
Thank you

My older brother is a sailor, and he had a very difficult time at sea. I wrote inspired by the difficulties he went through and shared my feelings. ☺
