Hello everyone, I wrote this poem when I was 12-years old. I am already 20 and decided to clean up my closet since it was already covered with dust. As I am cleaning it, I saw a bunch of papers tied with yarns. As I am scanning it, I saw this poem. Enjoy reading.
This poem is a free verse poem, which means there are no lots of rhyming words at the end of the line and no exact number of lines on each stanza.
"Don't Quit"
My heart is the quiver
and the problems are the bows
I myself should know
to let those things go
So that I can move on
and forget the scars I chose.
Problems themselves are reality to be faced
and a responsibility to be handled
Never look at the problem as a challenge or foe
but and opportunity for you to grow
It may be difficult to find answers
but trust the one that hung the stars above and wonder
that the real answers
are when your knees hit the ground and when you ponder.
Let the problem pass and be courageous
Surpass the people who tried to pull you down
and walk on the carpet wearing your victory gown.
Thank you for reading!
