I agree with you that happiness is a personal thing and that we can choose to be happy or not. I also agree with you that being thankful and having a good balance between the material and spiritual parts of life are important. Yes, success is different for everyone, and it is important to do what we love and feel fulfilled. Mistakes are also opportunities to learn and grow.
