Hello friends, a big greeting to this community. This time I am going to show you the figure of a beautiful "Owl" which I drew in relief on an aluminum foil of a butter stamp, applying the embossing technique.

For this work I am going to use the aluminum foil that the butter containers bring, I like this paper because it is quite strong and flexible, ideal for embossing.

Process:

• To begin, I am going to draw on a paper the figure of the owl that I will use for embossing, it is important that the drawing fits into the space of the aluminum foil:

• I already have the "OWL" drawing ready. I think it looks fantastic, now I am going to place this drawing on the aluminum foil to begin to pierce the figure with the embossing technique, for this I am going to use several clip-type hooks so that do not move the drawing:

• Let's start with the embossing: First I am going to place the drawing on a piece of foam, To make the embossing we can use a thick-tipped pencil, you could also use a toothpick, the important thing is that the tip is not too fine because it can break the aluminum foil, in this case I am going to use a small screwdriver, with this tool we are going to go over the lines of the drawing several times, we will do this very carefully.

As the Owl's eyes are the most striking, we have to try to make them stand out, for this we must do the embossing very carefully trying to make its shape well defined and in relief.

• In the next step we are going to correct any imperfections in the lines, after this, we are going to highlight the relief of the figure, for this we turn the aluminum sheet that is the face of the paper that interests us and begin to smooth the edge of the reliefs:

Well friends, we have our Owl ready, its reliefs look very good, we can use this beautiful piece for a wall painting, if you prefer you can cut it or leave it like that, in any case it looks good in a painting, I recommend placing it on a black fabric to highlight the figure, in this case I am going to place it on a glossy black foami, then I show you the two presentations:
