Dandelion and its good sides

The first days of spring lured various plants to open their interesting flowers. That is how this Dandelion opened this yellow flower. In the earthen space around the house, a lot of dandelion flowers opened up to soak up the sun that occasionally peeked through the clouds.
Dandelion is a wild plant that is really very widespread in Serbia. Dandelion is very useful for the human body.

Dandelion has long been known as a real little "elixir of health". It is very rich in vitamin C, and contains more iron even than spinach. As for its healing properties, there are many of them, but it is best used to improve appetite, cleanse the lungs and the body of harmful toxins. It is used for skin diseases, anemia, high blood pressure, and its root can also serve as a diuretic.

Due to the taraxacum, it contains, excessive intake of dandelion in the body can cause diarrhea and irregular heartbeat, so do not overdo it.
All parts of the dandelion are edible, but in cooking, young leaves are mostly used as part of fresh spring salads, soups, stews, and appetizers, while honey and medicinal syrup are made from yellow flowers.
