"Public service is the most real manifestation of the government's presence in people's lives. This predicate is not just an award, but also a reminder that there is still a lot of room to improve for the welfare of the people," said Safrizal.

"Maintain this achievement. Take steps, create strategies so that we can continue to provide the best to the community."

Safrizal added that compliance with public service standards is not only an administrative obligation, but also a moral and ethical responsibility as a public servant. The Aceh government, he said, continues to take various strategic steps to ensure quality public services.

These steps include updating service standards that are relevant to the needs of the community, developing digital systems to create integrated and transparent services, and improving human resource competencies through training that is in accordance with the demands of the times.

He also emphasized the importance of community involvement in this process through public consultation forums and more effective complaint mechanisms.

"We realize that there is still a lot of room for improvement. However, our determination to continue to improve will never wane," he said.

Safrizal invited all parties to continue to collaborate in order to create professional, accountable public services that have a direct impact on the community. He also expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian Ombudsman for the role and support provided so far.

"Let's make this award a motivation to continue to innovate, provide the best service, and ensure that the community feels the real benefits of the government's existence," said Safrizal.

Head of the Aceh Ombudsman Representative, Dian Rubianty, explained that the assessment of compliance with public service standards was carried out comprehensively and in-depth. The assessment began in February to August 2024, with further supervision in September 2024.

At the provincial level, the assessment was carried out at several agencies, namely the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP), Health Office, Education Office, Social Service, and Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional Hospital.

Meanwhile, at the district/city level, the assessment involved five main SKPDs, namely the PTSP Office, Population and Civil Registration Office, Social Service, Education Office, Health Service, and two health centers in the administrative areas of each district/city.

According to Dian, the results of this year's assessment showed significant progress, with several districts successfully improving their service standards.

He emphasized that this compliance assessment aims to encourage local governments to improve the quality of public services from various aspects, including service standards, facilities and infrastructure, service provider competencies, and complaint management.

Dian also said that the sustainability of bureaucratic reform must continue to be carried out to ensure better public services in the future.

"Aceh has shown extraordinary progress in compliance with public service standards. This is a proud achievement, but the challenge ahead is to maintain and improve the quality of service to continue to meet community expectations," said Dadan.

He also added that this assessment is not only a tool for assessment, but also an instrument to encourage real change and improvement in public services.

The event ended with awards to several districts/cities that had succeeded in improving their service standards, including Simeulue and Gayo Lues, which were previously in the yellow zone and have now succeeded in entering the h zone green.
