This photo was taken way back April of 2019. We were having a city tour and I was actually leading the tour for my friend, since he's not from our city.
The monument was built in memory and honor of our hero, his name is Lapu-Lapu. I'm not really good in History, but as far as I remember he was the one who protected and saved my city from the conquerors coming from other countries. He was willing to sacrifice his life for our beloved city.
As a result of his heroic deed, we are now seeing his monument :)
