Introduction

Hello everyone on @steemit-family, I am glad to join this contest organized by @peachyladiva to share my view about settling family dispute.

It is not a coincidence that everyone comes from a family where there is a father, mother and children.

A family can be a group of individuals related by blood, marriage or adoption.

And I also come from a family and we normally have disputes from time to time but that doesn't stop us from being a family because we always find a means to settle our disputes.

My name is Patience Akwash, known as @patience90 on steemit.
I am single but I come from a family of 9-my dad, mum, 4 brothers and 2 sisters though all my siblings are married with kids now.

what cause dispute most of the time

Not keeping to time.
Most times, when we agreed to meet at a particular time, there is always someone/some people who will come late, therefore, affecting others' personal schedules.

how the dispute is settled

We always settle after the defualter accepts his/her responsibility of being wrong, then an apology follows then we finally teased each other and laugh.

how you relate with each other after the disagreement

After apology and acceptance, we joke,laugh and move on.
One thing I love about my family is that we always have disputes, but we don't allow it linger on without settling our difference.
We all understand that we are humans and bound to make mistakes once in a while.
Love bind us together.

Disputes should always be settled through effective communications.
