Everyone here, it's good to be with you all in this wonderful new year and happy new year to everyone and may it be full of blessings and good opportunities to you 🙏🙏. Good thanks goes to our esteemed organizers ie, @uzma4882 jointly with @steem-family for organizing such a beautiful contest.

My celebrations of the year found me at home with family, normally I fear to move outside on the new years night. So I took time to have a family prayer dedicating my personal and family plans to God. From having a power prayer, I made some phone calls to my other relatives and friends wishing them a happy new year and then departed to bed at 02:00 Am on the New years night/morning.

On 1st, Day of the news day, this is the day that we celebrated with my family, my dear wife prepared some nice local foods, ie Matooke, Rice, Irish potatoes with Oluwombo 😋 👇

In Uganda, this Luwombo is a special meal prepared only for a special occasion. It's of so many types like Beef, G nuts, Chicken and so many other. So this first day was worth celebrating with a luwombo.

We enjoyed our special meal as a family then after watched a movie from a local television and then in the evening went to a nearby Hotel called Doham and had some some fun

Due to the covid 19 restrictions like curfew time, so I didn't spend much time on this outing. I was back home to be with my family by 09:00 Pm. (East African Time)
