INTRODUCTION

In the realm of learning, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. From the earliest grades to the highest levels of education, technology is being used to enhance the educational experience and improve students' outcomes. But before I go into detail about my background with educational technology, I should provide some background.

Making the Most of Technology for Learning

As one of the most widespread applications of technology in the classroom, digital learning platforms are rapidly gaining popularity. Google Classroom, Blackboard, and Canvas are just some examples of online learning management systems that facilitate collaboration between instructors and their students in the classroom. As a result, both students and teachers can more easily monitor student progress and offer constructive criticism thanks to a streamlined system for keeping tabs on assignments. Students can work together and stay in touch with one another, even if they don't live in the same city, thanks to digital learning platforms. Students who are participating in online or hybrid courses may benefit greatly from this.
One day, I hope to create a groundbreaking piece of educational technology that, believe me, would revolutionize the sector. In the near future, I hope to see this product come to fruition because I feel very strongly about it.

Using online resources like videos, articles, and simulations is another example of how technology is being applied to the classroom. Students can supplement their classroom education with the wealth of information provided by these sources. YouTube channels like "Crash Course" provide interesting and useful lessons on a wide range of topics, demonstrating the site's growing importance as a teaching tool. In addition to Wikipedia, other online resources such as Khan Academy, Quizlet, and Coursera provide access to a wealth of educational resources and courses for learners of all ages, from kindergarten through graduate school.

These days, it's hard to find a student who doesn't Google a few things every day during class. The great news is that the majority of these online resources are both comprehensive and costless. Because our parents and grandparents did not have the same opportunities that we do, we recognize how fortunate we are.

Barriers that Emerge Due to the Use of Technology in the Classroom

While there is no doubt that technological advancements have the potential to improve classroom instruction, they are not without their drawbacks. Distraction from constant notifications and easy access to social media is a major issue that can make it hard for students to concentrate. Overuse of technology is also associated with a decline in critical thinking abilities and interest in more conventional forms of education. Teachers need to strike a balance between maximizing the learning potential of technology and minimizing the disruption it can cause in the classroom.

Reflections on My Own Life

When I was in school, I found that the use of technology aided me greatly. Having my laptop with me during my research was invaluable, as it gave me instantaneous access to a plethora of data and materials on the topics I was studying. In addition to being excellent media players, my mobile devices also served as indispensable reading aids. In addition, I found that videos on YouTube, particularly those from Crash Course, were incredibly useful for my education, especially in the fields of physiology and anatomy. In addition, I was able to set myself apart from my peers thanks to my comfort and competence with modern technological tools. I was able to finish homework and projects ahead of schedule and even started charging other students for my time.

I've already stated my intention to expand upon the exciting field of educational technology. It's possible to make a lot of money and a lot of waves with a product or service centered on educational technology if it's good. I hope to soon investigate how technology can be used to address some of education's outstanding challenges.

Conclusion

Technology's obvious and undeniable benefits to the classroom cannot be overstated; for one thing, it has given students unprecedented access to previously unavailable information and resources. The proliferation of digital learning platforms, online resources, and other technologies has improved the educational experience for both students and educators. Use of technology can be helpful, but too much of it can be a distraction and impair one's ability to think critically, so moderation and restraint are essential. As students, we need to find a happy medium and maximize our use of modern conveniences. Educators and institutions have a responsibility to ensure that students are using technology to their advantage and to provide the necessary support to help them overcome the obstacles that new technologies can present. Even so, I'm still enthusiastic about the potential of technology to improve classroom instruction and am committed to seeing similar progress made in my native Nigeria.
