Apart From The Money, Crypto Has Benefited Me In So Many Ways - I've Gained Freedom Through Steemit

We all know that most of us came into crypto for the money, the profits, and the goal of being among the first to invest in something we all know will be the future of financial technology. Most of the time, all we have to do is conduct our own analysis, purchase the coin, and Hodl it, but while we are purchasing and Hodling, we are also learning and discovering a lot.

Aside from the money I made in Crypto, I've gained a lot of new things that have played a positive impacts in my life, those things has benefited me hugely.

Freedom

The first on the list is Freedom, simple means the opportunity to do things without being directed or controlled, this is something I am extremely grateful about.

As a Nigerian youth, the hope of being free is very slim, you have to work hard 24/7, but with Crypto I have complete autonomy; I can sleep when I want, work when I want, and I'm not reliant on someone else to pay my income. Crypto gave me freedom and this is something I can't take for granted. And Steemit is a great example of freedom brought to me by Crypto.

Hope

I entered into crypto to make money, but I learned about hope while hodling. In 2021, I bought some BTC when the price hit $50k, and the price fell to $30k, if you've been in crypto for that long, you should be familiar with the 2021 bear market when Tesla's announced they won't accept BTC as payment again. What would you do if you bought bitcoin at $50k and it dropped to $30k? Do you persist hoping it will pump or do you sell it and accept the loss? That was my predicament, but it was during the waiting period that I learned to have Hope. During the bear market, it was hope that kept me going. I keep hoping that it will all be worthwhile in the end and it definitely worked, BTC later hit $69k that same year and my hope and wait was worth it.

Crypto showed me the power of hope, and I am grateful because it is the same hope that will assist me with STEEM. We're all hope that STEEM becomes well-known and valued for what it is. So, having hope is something I've gained from crypto, and I haven't been disappointed thus far.

The Value Money

Prior to my crypto journey, I always thought of earning money and its value as a rat race, or that if you weren't born into a wealthy family, you couldn't have access to the opportunity to make money. But, regardless of their region, gender, or color, crypto has given everyone the potential to earn money. Everyone, especially the Steemit community, is always learning about money, which can help you learn and understand the value of money better. This comes from consistently financially educating yourself; it allows you to study more and more.

Made New Friends & Gain From Their Experience

This is another thing I'm grateful for, I've made hundreds of friends both locally and internationally, I've a lot of friends on Steemit, some crypto groups (Facebook, Telegram and Twitter) and I've learnt a lot from their stories and experience this has helped shaped my crypto knowledge and helped my trading journey.

While the earnings has been good, the other aspects have been beneficial in my life, and I have learned a lot from the Steemit community. I'll add that another benefit I've experienced from crypto through Steemit is socialization, which has aided my crypto success.

@fredquantum is one of the people I met in a crypto telegram channel; he has made a significant contribution to my crypto journey and has greatly aided my development.

I've made a lot of friends on the chain, and I wouldn't be able to name them all, but I'm glad we met. I'm grateful for everything, and I pray God bless you all. You guys have shaped my crypto knowledge and in some way contributed to my success.
