Selfie Trend

Many people have been doing the activity of taking selfies for a long time. There are people who do it almost every day, even several times a day.

Selfies are carried out by various people all over the world in various events, activities, or events. This trend has become part of a social trend in an era full of digital and mobile technology like now.

Generation Y and Z especially, seem very obsessed with selfie activities. In fact, many brands and companies are now using the selfie hobby in their marketing activities. The selfie phenomenon has become part of the marketing campaigns of various companies.

The selfie trend can be used for various purposes, one of which is to increase awareness, form a certain image that the brand wants, and provide a unique experience so that the audience can interact more with a brand.

Seeing this trend I am very interested in using this as a media to promote Steem. Millennials certainly have Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. And 50% of them are active users who like to upload their photos on social media.

The inspiration for this contest came from the Daily Chat Contest @arie.Steem.

The concept is very simple, you don't have to bother making posts. You just have to comment which contains your selfie with Steem that you upload on social media.

But of course, it's not that easy as you think, the photo you upload must be as creative as possible and contain a message in the form of an invitation to join Steemit. Think out of the Box! Make it as creative as possible.

Photo Terms and Conditions

1. Photos must be selfies that show objects, backgrounds, or properties that contain Steem or Steemit elements. It can be a picture, painting, cake, printing, car sticker, or whatever. Make it as creative as possible!
2. Photos can be grouped (groufie) or alone (selfie)
3. Post only on one of your social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc.)
4. Photos must be accompanied by a creative caption that invites you to join Steemit.
5. Photos posted must include the tag #selfie4steem #steem #steemit
6. Each participant is allowed to post 1 photo per contest. If you have another photo, please wait for the next contest.

Assessment

1. The most creative and most hilarious photos! Creativity No Limit - Think out of the box! (1-3 points)
2. The most creative and persuasive status or caption (1-3 points)
3. Number of likes/comments/shares or retweets (1-2 points)

Winner

1st Winner: 25 STEEM
2nd Winner: 15 STEEM
3rd Winner: 10 STEEM

The contest will run for one week. Therefore, you can take fun selfies every week and submit your best, most creative photos.
