How does it work and how to upload the contest and what technology is used on steemcontest.com

Since being introduced by @arie.steem two days ago. Praise God, many steemit users are interested in our project. I'm not here to introduce steemcontest.com again, but here I will explain how steemcontest works, how to use steemcontest and what technology is used to build this steemcontest.com.

But first, I want to review a little about our purpose in building this steemcontest. The main goal is to help steemit users who are interested in the contest. this will make it easier for them to get information about contests that are being held on steemit. and on the part of the organizers of this contest it can be a promotional medium for their media. So we are here as a liaison between contest organizers and contest participants.

How does this steemcontest.com work?

This Steemcontest is in the form of a website that provides information on contests that are taking place on Steemit. And the information is not from us, but the contest organizers themselves who add to our site. We only provide containers. So, why do we require a minimum payment of 0.1 STEEM for every contest uploaded to our site?

Actually it's not a payment, but it's just for verification. And we think that this verification can reduce spammers who are spamming on our site.

We provide a page for organizers to add their contest link to our site. Anyone can upload the link to our site. but after the submit process, our site asks to verify by sending 0.1 steem to the @steemcontest.com account.

as I have explained above, it is not as a fee but as a mere verification.

What technology was used to build this platform?

This website was built using the typescript programming language with the ReactJS framework. For the DBMS we use firebase firestore. And for hosting we also use products from firebase, namely firebase hosting.

To check the verified posting links or those who have made a minimum transfer of 0.1 STEEM to the steemcontest.com account, we use the API from steemit.com.

How to add your contest to the steemcontest.com site ?

• Open steemcontest site here
• Clik menu "add your contest here"

• Then fill in all the available fields. starting from the link until the last time the contest was held.

• If you have pressed the submit button, you will be directed to your contest verification instructions.
  

• According to the instructions shown, you can send steem manually or via barcode or directly using the steemconnect button that has been provided there.

• After successful payment, please return to https://steemcontest.com. Congratulations, your contest has appeared on our main page.
