Productivity Tips Pt. 1 : Mindset

As a college student the following are some tips to getting work done:

  1. Set a goal for what you want to get done. When you bind yourself to a goal, you feel more obligated to fulfill it and when you manage to finish it, you feel as if you want to go above and beyond.

  2. Train yourself to not focus on past issues/failures. Today is a new day and is shaped by your actions now, not yesterday

  3. No one else can help you be successful, and many people don't care about your success. When being pressured to procrastinate, know that many are just looking for a fun time and will not share in your grief when you are depressed about not being able to do as much as you hoped
