How do you know "most folks" prefer to be fed with lies? Do you have statistics to prove it? If you don't then this question is a leading and/or loaded question. Use "some people" instead of "most folks" to comply with the rules.

I don't understand what you are talking about. None of the leaders of communities (including Admin and Moderators) have the power to withdraw reposting or editing authority of members of the community. We can at most mute a post.
