A Peaceful Day Out: Our Memorable Trip to Chanchal Resort

In the journey of life, we often encounter various obstacles. As we navigate through different challenges, we become weary, and our minds long for a bit of peace. To find this peace, we need to explore different aspects of life. I believe that traveling is one of the best ways to enjoy life. In this regard, I am quite fortunate. The reason I say fortunate is because both my husband and I love to travel. Even amidst our busy schedules, we try to enjoy life.

After going to the village house, I couldn’t go out for a few days due to the excessive heat, and then for a few more days because of the heavy rain. As a result, a bit of monotony crept in between us. Later, my husband offered to take me somewhere. I immediately agreed upon hearing it. Just as we planned to go out, the next morning, the weather wasn’t great, with a light drizzle almost throughout the day. Still, I waited, hoping the weather would improve a bit. Waiting like this, it seemed like the weather might get better, so I quickly got ready.

The place we planned to visit is called Chanchal Resort. It’s located about 20 kilometers from our house. My husband and I got ready and left the house. For this journey, we decided to go by motorcycle. Since it wasn’t too far from home, the bike ride felt very enjoyable. As I mentioned earlier, the weather wasn’t that great, so I told my husband to drive a bit slowly. While on the way, I captured some pictures of nature.

Due to the slow speed, it took us about fifty minutes to reach our destination. However, the entire journey was filled with joyful moments for both of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this ride. Finally, after about 50 minutes, we arrived at our destination.

This resort is located a bit away from the noise of the city. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. Upon arrival, my husband first asked the guard about the parking area, then he headed towards the ticket counter to buy tickets for both the motorcycle and us. Here, each ticket costs 100 Taka, so it was 200 Taka for both of us. He bought the tickets and came to me, and then we entered the resort.

While entering, a guide provided us with some directions, informing us where different facilities are located. As we entered, seeing the beautiful environment uplifted our mood.

Entering, we were fascinated by the beautiful gate. My husband took several pictures of me there. We continued forward past the main gate and soon saw a large pond, beautifully organized all around.

We were mesmerized as we gazed around. From where we were standing, if we looked to the far end, there was a beautiful staircase leading up to an area where people could sit and spend time. On our right hand side was a residential system for those who come from afar and wish to stay overnight. There were also various play facilities for children on the right side near the gate. There were speedboats available for those who wanted to go on the pond.

We continued walking forward and kept exploring new things. Walking like this, we reached a point where there was a touch of greenery everywhere, and small trees of various types were beautifully arranged.There were also statues of animals and birds. We continued walking forward and climbed the stairs. On top, we saw a vast green field, where looking out filled our eyes and mind with peace.

We spent quite a bit of time here, capturing photos. After a while, the waterfall system in the pond was turned on for a while, and we enjoyed it from a distance. The gentle sound of the waterfall enchanted us. As evening approached, the lights were turned on, illuminating the entire area with colorful lights.

There is also a swimming pool here where visitors can swim without any extra charge. I really liked the decoration system here. After spending quite some time here, we came down to the lower part.

Walking forward along the path, we saw various lights illuminating the place, and we spent some time there as well.

Then we went to the children’s play area. Those who bring young children can easily spend time here as there are play facilities for them, and there are also arrangements for adults to spend time here.

There are various swings beautifully arranged for anyone to sit and spend time. I sat on a swing and captured some photos, and my husband and I continued exploring the surroundings. Since it was already nighttime, the colorful lights inside made the environment feel lively.

There is also a community center here, which can be rented for weddings or other events. The interior environment here enchanted me – everything was beautifully organized with a touch of greenery and a natural vibe.

There is also a shopping area here with various toys for young children and clothing for adults. On one side, there were a few small love birds.

There were beautiful birdhouses where the birds were residing. We spent quite some time with the birds. They were very calm by nature. I really like love birds.

Time flew by, and now it was time to leave this place. That day’s moments were truly delightful for us. We explored something new and learned many things. Finally, we left the resort and started our journey home. By the grace of Allah, our entire journey was very smooth, and we didn’t encounter any problems on our way or while heading back home.
