view of Abakaliki the last time i visited

My home town is a very wonderful and unique environment, although I wasn't there when all this happened it was my dad who told me about it and I am happy to share it with you all.
Abakaliki, my hometown, is located in the eastern part of Nigeria, before they were under a state until in the year 1994, when they became a state on their own.

Abakaliki, known as salt of the nation, is a place of uncertainty back in the days, they use to be robbery a theft all over the community.
People and were afraid of going put and walking freely due to the insurgency that was happening, they lived with it until a gpod governor was elected and he put an end to all the wrong happening in the city of Abakaliki people because free and happy living a comfortable life without fear.

People now work and communicate freely as the witchcraft have reduced

Abakaliki was a place where witches and wizards destroy the lives of innocent people, witchcraft was seen as a normal thing in most communities and village's they had zero belief that God exists until the missionaries came and preach the word of God to them and also educated them about the existence of God almighty which is in heaven.

As time went on, Christianity started spreading into different communities, and those who were practising witchcraft repented and started worshipping God almighty.
This was how Christianity came into Abakaliki, although it took time for the missionaries to convince people that witchcraft is a bad practice.

They have been war between a community and my community over a piece of land, innocent lives were taken away, and each time I remember this tragic moment tear rush down my eyes.
We were the real owners of that particular, but our neighbouring villages wanted to take it if forcefully from us. The problem escalates, and it resulted in a bidding war that took lives and also destroyed properties.
The people of our community learned from this incident and never engaged themselves in any war because dialogue is the best way to resolve and overcome conflict.
