Weekly Reflections #29: Sky Photography!

Dear @damithudaya if you ask me to write stories of the sky and its changing colors, I can keep writing nonstop but I know no one read lengthy posts, so I will keep it brief. I would love to ask a few of my Steemian friends @senehasa, @radjasalman and @josepha to come join me and show us their version of the limitless sky!

  

We all know that the sky has no color, yet it changes its color every moment. Light travels as waves of energy, which scatter everywhere when sunlight is scattered.

The sky is blue, and it looks very blue to me because there is no pollution where I am standing. Blue light waves scatter more than other colors.

When the sun is in the sky, it appears white, which is its true color, and the sky looks a little more blue to me.

How beautiful the sky looks, the sky of all colors, red, yellow, black, bright blue sky spread all over. It is endless in all directions, it has no beginning and no end.

Even if I try to touch it, I cannot get hold of the sky, because the sky is always still, fearless, calm and unwavering.

I always love the sky and I like the clouds in it even more, except when I am watching a match in a cricket stadium and suddenly the clouds join in, and it starts raining. If you are a sports lover, this disturbance really troubles you from within.

It is quite common to see the sky changing into different colors, but sometimes the sky can be of a more unusual color and it can be quite enjoyable, if you look at it carefully you can imagine different colors in it.

I like it when I go for a morning walk and a cluster of clouds stands on my right and smiles and welcomes me. I feel as if it is walking with me, as if it is my morning walk companion.

I enjoy it when I park my car in the parking lot and look back, a tiny cloud sitting on the windscreen of my car teases me. Furthermore, I smile and ignore it.

There is a beautiful road. There are tall eucalyptus trees on both sides of the road. It had rained a while ago. The drizzle stopped and I set out on this road. The water from the sky had already drained off the road.

The air is moist, and the weather is slightly cold. It is a pleasant feeling to go out on a walk like this, that too in the shade of clouds. You will ask me which place is this and I will say, 'I don't know.' That is all I had seen, but whatever I had seen was very beautiful and pleasant.

Two rainbows are often visible from my home in Canberra because it rains a lot here. And it makes the sky even more beautiful. To see the rainbow during the rains, I wait with my small camera or phone in my back balcony for them to appear so that I can capture it.

When I go out on this cycle path with my bicycle, I stop my bike after seeing this scene and capture it in my camera. The blue sky looks even more beautiful when the environment is completely free from pollution. What I mean to say is that it is not the sky that is blue, but the reason why the sky appears blue is that the blue light coming from the sun is scattered more than the red light, so this beautiful colorless sky looks blue to us.

I find the most beautiful sky in the lap of nature when I stand in a long, wide green grass field and look at the sky, it is a wonderful sight.

I enjoy even more when I look at my rain shelter under the open sky in the lap of nature, it is a sight that is difficult to forget. Blue sky above and a small house on the green grass below, what else does a nature lover need?

That day, when I was out for walking in the morning, I could see the blue sky. I spread both my hands and wanted to grab the whole sky in my arms. I wanted to take a deep breath and watch it again and again.

I wanted to fill my eyes with the bright blue sky. I wanted to capture the happiness that was coming from it as its blue color and the vast sky! and to share a secret with you, the sky was staring at me unblinkingly.
