An application for February, 2024 community curator

I write to apply for a role of a community curator for the month of February, 2024. Having gone through what is required to be a curator, I understood what is expected of me as community curator and I'm willing to pick up this role so as to carry out curation work effectively to my best ability.

I joined steemit April 2021, and I'm almost 3 years in steemit, I've followed every activities done here and I've been actively posting till now. I understand the demands of the platform for as long as I'm here.

To my best ability, I go through users posts read and upvote good content published on the platform and make necessary corrections where needed. I've been with different curation team and I understand the work of a curator so well, I'm ever ready to go round different communities and blog to give vote to quality posts and comments as expected of me.

I'm a humble lady who is devoted to my responsibilities and always try to carry them out while respecting the part of confidentiality as well as transparency, I despised tribalism so I do everything possible to avoid it. I accept corrections and make adjustments where needed immediately, I understand team work and I make everything possible to achieve success in team work.

Recently I'm working with team 3 curators using steemcurator06 account, I've been working as a community curator with different teams for as long as community curation work started, I understand the need of screening a post before curating and I always do so.

Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in ‘real life’.

In real life, I'm a health practitioner a pharmacist precisely, I care about health and do well to render some charity help too to those in need when it comes to health. I carry out my duties as a health care provider with passion. I worked with ImaBridge Africa foundation which has a hospital sector by name ImaBridge medical center.

Recently, I joined non governmental organizations which sponsors and educate women to prevent and detect breast cancer early also a sector of this NGO valued the welfare of patients struggling with HIV/AIDs and as such they give out free drugs to them and care for their mental health, I work in the pharmacy department dispensing drugs and counseling them on all areas they need to know.

I have passion for health care and I like applying what I know is best for my health and my family, I don't hesitate sharing my knowledge with my friends here on the platform about health. I joined my team to carry out free health care to people who can't afford their bill, we just concluded another medical mission this month.

I am business oriented, I care for some pet at home, I'm also into fish and chicken farming/hospitality business as it is my family side hustle I learn and know how to care for them. I'm a good multitasker and it helps me to carry out my duties effectively every day.

Recently graduated in craft/art skills program, I enjoyed doing this craft at my free time especially to decorate my home not for commercial use.

What country you live in and what languages you can read fluently.

I live in Nigeria one of the African country and I speak fluently and understands English, Nigeria pidgin and Ibibio all this are language in my country. But in steemit I can read and understand other users language content using language translator to translate it to English for clearer understanding.

I'm well vested in going round reading post and with this I enjoyed reading real and creative writing post such as diary games, art and craft post, health post as well as food, pets and lifestyle. I'm not limited to topics associated with engagement challenge as well as any topic as long as it is good content free from plagiarism and not AI generated.

I will do well to select and curate post free from plagiarism, I will also do well to follow all rules and regulations guiding community curators and to carry out my work smoothly as it is required of me, working hand in hand with my team to make the work smooth.
