Hi there my beloved friends in this community, am thrilled to participate in this contest organized by @goodybest, to showcase our traditional delight which am going to do here.

In this contest am going to talk about my traditional meal called atama soup, which is traditionally for Akwa ibomite, a state in Nigeria.

This food is generally know for it's delicious taste, and easy to prepare by the indigenous people of the state.

There are several ways which can be used to prepare the meal, and am going to explain a simple way I got from my grandmother in the village during my stay with her.

This is how the leave looks like, when the leave is gotten from the farm or environment which it was planted, it as to be cleaned and cut into smaller pieces.

This is the process of cutting it to pieces

After then, we added palm fruit oil. We had to wash the palm fruits, boil it, and then pound it and add water to it before filtering the water out to different bow.

After the palm oil water as been filtered, that is the water to be used for the preparation of the soup.

After every other things has been arranged, like the meat, pepe, salt, magi, crayfish etc. after they have been steam, the palm fruits water should be added before lastly the atama leave should be added which made the soup called ATAMA SOUP

Atama soup is one of my favorites; I love it with stock fish, smoked fish, cowskin, and snails with enough periwinkles. Thanks for taking part in this contest.

Tips: next time, add the pictures of your ingredients, and pictures of each step of preparation till the outcome. Take a look at what I mean:
